This is Egda now. This photo was taken on 5/11/10, just about a week before I started sponsoring Egda. She's nearly seven years old in this picture. In fact, TODAY, the 24th of June, is Egda's seventh birthday!
This is without a doubt my favorite photo of Egda. I saw this photo while browsing on the CI website, looking at children in need of sponsors, and I couldn't get that face and smile out of my head. I waited a few days before I finally gave in and sponsored her. This is the photo that made me do it. This photo was taken when Egda was either just about to turn six or had just turned six, in June or July 2009.
