Well, I know I said I could only afford to sponsor one child when I wrote my last post, but soon after that I was incredibly fortunate to be hired for a full-time position at my job! (Before, I was only working part-time, sometimes as little as 16 hours a week.) So with my additional income, I decided that I wanted to sponsor another child through Children International (CI).
So...meet Egda Karina! She's six years old, lives in Guayaquil, Ecuador, and will be seven on June 24th. She lives with her mother, baby brother Brayan, 8-year-old brother Jorge, and 15-year-old brother Pedro. They all live on $200 a month, in a home with only one room and one bed.
